I've worked on Dead by Daylight for 2.5 years and have made an extensive amount of VFX for various areas of the game using Unreal Engine.

Some of these VFX Include:

  • Gameplay (Killer/Survivor)

    • DLC, Events, Modifiers, Game Modes, Mori

  • Environmental

    • Maps (tile based BPs),

  • Cosmetic (Survivor/Killer/Charms

  • UI/Menu VFX

    • loading screen

    • offering cards

Creating these VFX have included the use of Niagara, Cascade, Material Editor, and Blueprints, alongside external software like Houdini, Blender, Substance Designer, and Photoshop.
